If Goodreads can't increase the number of books seen per shelf when search a shelf/shelves:

You could always see who puts the books on the Indonesian (or whatever) shelves, and go to their profiles. On every book shelf, including read, to-read, currently reading, and all user created shelves such as "Indonesian," at the bottom left of each page there's a drop down menu where you choose how many books per pages you want to see. You can select up to 200 books per page. The default is 20 books per page. Even if a particular shelf, such as Indonesian, has more than 200 books, at the bottom right side of the page there's a "next" you can click on for however many pages of books are on that shelf - you can see ALL the books on every shelf if you do this.

Guess that's a bit more work, but you'd be able to find a lot of books this way.

Kate (kate-schmate) | 42 comments Just to add to the above, if the site allowed you to view more than 200 books at a time it would probably put considerable strain on the database.

Hi Amang,

Increasing the number of books per shelf is definitely on the todo list, but thanks for letting us know about your problem - it helps to know all the use-cases!
