My name is Ash, but A.S. Halsey is my pen name. I respond to Ash or Halsey. I have read The Looking Glass Wars and Seeing Redd and I have Arch Enemy but have yet to read it. I've also seen the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland and LOVE it. I'm completely insane, a self-diagnosed book-a-holic, and addicted to the Internet (especially Goodreads!). Anyone is welcome to friend me...at your own risk! My craziness just might be severely contagious....

Alexa My name is Alexa. I loved the Looking Glass War Series! I haven't seen the movie yet but I plan to watch it soon because it looked SO good. I love to read and I buy books constantly!

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey Alexa :) welcome to the group! Yeah the movie is really good, at least in my opinion, some people thought it was creepy, but of course it was creepy - it's Tim Burton!

Aviva (newtimelord) | 100 comments Hi. I'm Aviva. I really want to read the Looking Glass Wars but I have a billion books to read and am currently in the middle of two others series that I'd like to finish before starting another, and then I have to read one my friend is bugging me to. So maybe March. Jk, more like April. I really like the new Alice and Wonderland and Tim Burton rocks.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Welcome to the group Aviva! Nice to have another Tim Burton fan to talk to :)

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

You've seen it?! Awesome! I love What's This

message 14: by Alexa (new)

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

the song from Nightmare Before Christmas where Jack is in Christmas Town

message 16: by Alexa (new)

Alexa Oh ok I rememeber that song now! I love that song. In the movie it is so cheery with all the Christmas decorations around.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

I can already tell we have a lot in common XD

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Haven't read Mortal Instruments YET, but the other two YES YES YES YES YES!!

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

I know right! Haha just kidding. Why thank you! I've never heard of an Internet glomp, haha that's a funny word... I like it!

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

We read this book called Dr. Faustus and one of the characters was named Mephistophilis - pronounced MEF-ih-STAW-fill-EEZ.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Are you reading it on your own or for school?

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Gotcha. I never like the books I have to read for school.

message 23: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Heya, I'm Poet in the Dark. Call me Poet or Darky, whichever you prefer. I've sort of read The Looking Glass Wars, and it was pretty good. I'm sure I'd like it better than Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland (if I ever read it). :)

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey there! Welcome to the group! Hope you have a fun time!

message 25: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Ash, I was wondering if I could make a crush for Mark.

message 26: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) And thanks.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Sure thing! Like, a girl who has a crush on him, or vice versa?

message 28: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Hmm... what if they both like each other, but are too shy to say so?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

so they already know each other?

message 30: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Sure.

message 31: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Once I make my character ya wanna rp?

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Sure thing! Oh and btw, before joining in the RP you might wanna skim over what we have so far, just so you don't get confused!

message 33: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) I did. :) Pretty interesting so far.

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow, you're totally on top of things! Alright, well have fun creating your charrie!

message 35: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) I just finished. Take a look. :)

message 36: by Poet in the Dark (new)

message 38: by Poet in the Dark (new)

Poet in the Dark (poetinthedark) Oh, okay.

message 39: by Nathaniel (new)

Nathaniel (nmcguiga) Hello I'm Nathaniel. I really liked to read Alice in Wonderland. The graphics were amazing. Other than that I plan on reading The Looking Glass Wars. It sounds pretty interesting.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey there, welcome to the group! Hope you enjoy yourself! Yeah The Looking Glass Wars is really great, it has a lot more action than Alice in Wonderland while still being about sort of the same characters and the same world.

message 41: by Nathaniel (new)

Nathaniel (nmcguiga) Really thats cool. Thanks for making me feel welcome.
