Why? And, does it matter?


I think the suggestion that always pops up, as it does in this article, that women are less confident in their competencies and less willing to be public, doesn't really fly here. Could it be that editing Wikipedia is a big timesuck, and women have better things to do with their time? Or is it the case that an "obsessive fact-loving realm" is "uncomfortable for women?"

Michael I'm not sure it matters because I don't know how accurate and reliable a source Wikipedia is.
