When do you find the time to read? At night, before bed? While the kids are at school? While the kids are napping? On the bus to and from work? What's YOUR time?
For me, I read at any chance I get, but usually at night after the kids are gone to bed. I crawl into bed, turn on my little LCD light that hooks on my book and read for a couple hours. If I'm lucky, I can read for an hour or so on Mon/Wed while my oldest is at school and my youngest is sleeping. I'm not ready to give up nap-time yet, lol...
I mostly read when I go to bed, but usually fall asleep very quickly. My absolute favorite time to read is when I wake up in the morning...grab a cup of coffee and my book and jump back under the covers....but working 5 days a week doesn't leave much time for that. When I lived in Boston, I could read on the train going to and from work, but now that I drive, can't do that either !
I read whenever I can... usually on weekends or at night before bed. I actually read more on weeknights because I stay up scrapping when I don't have to go to work the next morning! LOL!
Whenever and wherever I can! Mostly at night before bed and then for about an hour while D's at school. I'm blessed to be a very quick reader, so I manage to get through several books a week with that schedule.
I read whenever I have to wait for something, need to kill some time, or on the public bus which people find amazing that I can do something like that with out getting motion sickness.
I read whenever and wherever I have the chance! Usually though, I read after the kids are in bed sleeping and I get a long stretch of time to read. It's so hard to put a book down when you get reading and someone is yelling..."Mommy, I need you RIGHT NOW!" :) So, I read mostly at night after the kids are tucked in! :)
I love to read in the morning, refreshed after a night's sleep, and with a cup of coffee. But since I work, I can only comfortably do this on weekends. I take a book everywhere with me and sometimes will take my lunch hour in my car and read for an hour. Or at night before dozing off.
I read whenever I can. Right now we don't have children so the only time I don't read at home is when my hubby is home and that's to spend time with him. I also read at work (I work in a daycare) when the children are sleeping.
Most of my reading is done during my lunch hour and for an hour or so before I go to sleep. I commute about 90 minutes a day, so I also listen to books on my ride home in the evenings.
Whenever I have a free moment I read. Since I live alone, I pretty much read most of the evening. I'm not a fan of TV so I have plenty of time to pick up a book.
Anytime, anywhere. If there's a free moment, I fill it with reading. My favorite time and place is around 10-11PM laying in bed. I can't sleep unless I read, I feel I'm missing something. It has been my routine since I'm about 10 years old, can't break it now without imagined dire consequences, LOL
I do a lot of reading while waiting in the car for whoever I am with to complete their business or shopping, etc. Other than that, usually a couple of hours when I get up in the morning and my husband is using the computer, then in the evening and in bed. I'm a real "nightreader". If I can't sleep I get up and read.
