Cathy (cathepsut) I registered some books yesterday and noticed a new (to me) category: e-books.

How does that work? You can not exactly wild release an ebook or slap a bookplate on it with a BCID???

Amy (bookczuk) @Cathy- e-books has been there for ages. It's always seemed odd to me, but apparently people email files to each other of e-books they download or receive other ways and include the BCID. But I don't know how that would work with all the e-readers out there now. I think only the Nook allows sharing, and then only for 2 weeks.

Yes, that's the only possibility I can think off.

Kindle started a loaning system as well now, also for 2 weeks at a time. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know how many books they offer yet or how well it works.
