I love that it's called the "Wot No Books" campaign.

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I think closing a library to save money is a really stupid idea. unless of course prior to this no one used it. my local library cut hours. no more sunday afternoons and it's closed on wednesday mornings and only mornings on saturday.

Libraries aren't just for books anymore. A lot of people use them for job hunting, resume writing, free computer usage, etc. which makes the closings doubly painful.

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments I go to the library twice a week. I order either there or on line and pick up the next time I go there. I now have my own crate and they comment when I take out less than 6 books. I have people I meet there on Tuesdays and a separate group I meet there on Fridays. I order dvds from there too.
