Molly (mollystoddart) I realize I'm late on this one, but I did finish the book last week. I read it really quickly (in 1.5 days) and really enjoyed it. Not one of my favorites, but a sweet and heartbreaking story with a happy ending (a perfect mid-winter read). Anyone else read it?

It is next to next on my list!

Babs | 258 comments I loved it! As you say it was a great mid-winter read. I laughed outloud at the antics! But most of all I loved the eccentricities of these Southern Belles. I've always hoped I would become a little eccentric myself as I age.

The relationship between Oleta and CeCe was heartwarming and exactly what CeCe needed...a stable, wisdom endowed mother figure.
