Rosemary Hi, Peggy. Yes, this site is heartening proof that lots of folks still love reading. I'm just getting started here, too.

Today is a big day for me, my first signing of my first hardback, Women of Magdalene. So far, I have six signings scheduled in the Houston area--so many bookstores: one of the advantages of the big city. And I'm presenting the book in Baton Rouge at the Louisiana Book Festival, another celebration of reading!

Wow, how exiting. I am going to have to check that book out.

Rosemary Thanks, Peggy. I'm delighted to meet readers and writers close to home and all over the world. Sites such as Goodreads have turned us all into cosmopolitans.

Geezer (timeiscoming) Universal cosmopolitanism or faux intellectuals?

"Cult of the Amateur" by Andrew Keen addresses this.
