Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments The lights are out, the moon is high,
There is a bedlam of lights in the sky.
I look up as i stand on the rooftop,
and wonder.....

I look at the stars and let out a sigh
why should some live while some have to die
why good things come to a full stop
I wonder...

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments Why evil thrives,
why people have to struggles for their lives?
Why isn't everything good n fair?
I wonder....oh, i wonder...

What happened to the Protectors of the Just
In whom we had placed so much trust
When will they return
I wonder...

message 6: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments I wonder, when my death would come by
To repent for my sins, i wish to try,
But as an addiction they follow the trails of my life
Even though as a stain, yet i am still alive.

message 7: by Meenakshi (new)

Meenakshi (mcoolshi) | 55 comments I wonder
why it has to be so rough
and why life acts so intricately snuff
I wonder..

The Protectors of the Just will never die
To protect us from sin and sorrow they unfailingly try
But when sin brings a dear one to harm
The values of life and virtue lose their charm

message 9: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments And that is why i wonder,
If this is the beginning of the end,
coz the ties of humanity do not seem to mend.
Wars, violence and crimes are rampant,
life itself is playing truant.

message 10: by StoryWeaver (new)

StoryWeaver | 430 comments Mod
The Protectors cannot fight this fight alone,
for all our sins why should they atone
We need to rise as one
for finally the time has come
for the greater good

message 11: by Meenakshi (new)

Meenakshi (mcoolshi) | 55 comments debauchery has reached its culmination
Now its time for its abdication
the roads to its height are now no more
the only way it has is that of the back door

Cutting through society like a knife
be it vice, discord or strife
darker emotions have taken a firm root
can we still win over with virtue and truth
I wonder...

message 13: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments i wonder, i wonder
i'm Sick of this refrain!
Let's stand up and shout in the rain
"I'm Here!" and cross the line and go insane!

The Just will definitely prevail
although we must be ready for a tough travail
Virtue and truth can never be in vain
holding onto that one hope we must stay sane

message 15: by Prerak (last edited Jan 15, 2011 03:15AM) (new)

Prerak | 76 comments To believe in The Just
Is nothing but the lament of the weak;
Let us, ourselves, take a step forth;
And shout on the ears that pay us no heed!

The Protectors of the Just have warned us well
Never to give in to the easy lure of evil
The kind and true may appear meek
But united when they speak
Evil is ripped asunder

message 17: by Prerak (last edited Jan 15, 2011 08:08PM) (new)

Prerak | 76 comments i'm sick of those who stand in power
and step on the toes of others
where there job is to protect the innocence
they eat their starts into stutters
(its fun to write in this thread...good clashes! nice work Storyweaver)

message 18: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments How long are we going to complain?
To whine and cry that the authorities are a pain.
Nothing will change, until we take up the initiative,
or soon, there will be no alternative.
(seems as if sm1 wid a split persönality disorder is writing the poem)

message 19: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments Devil grins the eye of sins
The protectors of the Just wink it back
And WE, the infamous Fools they art
Are Left Lost in the Hope of nothing but shard!

StoryWeaver | 430 comments Mod
Out there, there is pillage and plunder
people like me still ponder and wonder
While we have been sitting wondering
doing nothing but complaining
The Protectors have been doing their bit

No more shall I waste time or blindly wander
I realize now what has been a great blunder
Inaction is no lesser sin
than bearing raw evil within
The time has come for the final gambit

((A gambit is a chess opening in which something is sacrificed in order to achieve a better position..so what is to be sacrificed folks ;-) ))

((@ Prerak, our SW page is about 'pitting wits against one another...now you folks are forcing me to 'rhyme' too...I luv it :-) ))

message 21: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments The tides are about to turn,
this isn't the time to sit and mourn.
Accompany me if you want,
but even if i have to do it alone,
nothing can deter me from making a stand.
Today, the Protectors will have an ally,
I'll stand beside them and fight every folly.

message 22: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments Let us then, Be up and Doing
With a heart for any fate
No matter come spears or the King himself
The Victory is ours and i live not on fate.

(Hey we are having continuous mournings about the same thing again and again, so lets put another scene in the poem when the war has actually started and create an imagination)

message 23: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments I

the horizon was clear, the wind all set
i heard eagles in the sky screech and fret
in the fear of the bugles that had marked the war
Rabid dogs of war marching their fates ahead!

(how was it??)

(Nice going Prerak!)
The Protectors and Commoners as one
The final battle has begun
The bugle calls echoing across fields
Friends united pitted against fiends

A friend trips, a life is lost
The battle will be won although at a cost
Trampling upon fallen friend and foe
The Just are now giving back evil what they owe

The glint of swords, the thud of arrows
The yell of victors as they fell down foes
A thrust there, a slice here
Victory seems sure and near

message 25: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments Too late....we realised we'd been tricked,
Heavens above, our carelessness got us kicked.
The enemy still held the ace,
we'd forgotten that evil has more than one face.
The greed....the avarice....in us all, it evoked,
Men were blinded, the battle turned,
A terrible blow, we sank to our knees,
and yet not once, did we think of giving up with ease,
if our lives were the sacrifice it needed, so be it.
We'd free the world of all evil with this battle of wit.

message 26: by Prerak (new)

Prerak | 76 comments If we looked to the left, or even the right,
Screams, Blood and Dangerous Eyes
There fell a corpse here, with his question eye
And we felt helpless to reply

we were dwindling in numbers indeed
But the horror was with the will that faltered
If we could grab the spirit tough
Numbers wouldn't matter the cuff.

message 27: by StoryWeaver (new)

StoryWeaver | 430 comments Mod
Our numbers were dwindling fast
Would this day at war be our last
Yelled a Protector "Run to fight another day"
A fast retreat made to a hidden shelter far away

Our numbers were now thin
But great was the desire to win
Plans were made, cunning and twisted
This time no life should go wasted

message 28: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha Singh (akankshasingh92) | 122 comments But some brave soul would have to risk it all,
and go infiltrate their ranks and cause their fall.
Volunteers were called forth for this dangerous task,
the one who'd be chosen, would in glory forever bask.
His name would be etched in golden letters in history,
so that no one forgets the sacrifice behind the victory.
