The goal is to read 50 books- one for each state.
Here are the Rules....
The first book read for each state will count as 2 points towards the monthly challenges for the month you read the book in this challenge.

1. Books must be of YA or Independent Readers.
2. Books must be over 100 pages.
3. EBooks do count.
4. The majority of the book must take place in the state; however does not need to take place the entire time in that state. If there is more than one state the book takes placed in, and there is not a state that takes the majority, you may choose one of the states as long as its an equal amount. IE... the book takes place one third in WA, one third in IA, and one third in TX. Any of those states will work.
5. Have fun and enjoy your books.

This challenge will be active for all of 2011.

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) Jenn, I know it's bad form to link to another group's stuff, but maybe there's somewhere we can add the info in this group too.

I went through an OCD fit where I found YA books for each state (after we'd discussed the idea originally) and actually came up with at least one or two for each state. Do you want to start an area and I'll cut and paste the info? It'll give everyone some ideas, and maybe we can continue to add to it as we come across books.

Sure thing Angela, that is a great idea. I will work on creating another folder for this.
