UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm reposting the YouTube video that Gabrielle posted. It's a fanfic POTO trailer.

From Gabrielle -

Ok so I know this isnt a song, but I didn't know were to put this and I just had to share it. Sorry! I was just on youtube and I looked up Phantom of the Opera fan videos and I found this "Whispers of Her Past". "After a young Christine denies her deranged love the Phantom, his obsession for her takes over. A terrible accident befalls Christine, causing her to suffer amnesia. She forgets her past as she knew it and begins anew. The Phantom on the other hand can not let go of his recent loss, nor will he ever. He uses Christine's current state to delude her into falling in love with him. But as time passes, he becomes increasingly violent, causing Christine and her lover Raoul to fear for their lives. She will be unable to escape the whispers of her past. This just sent chills down my spine! This is in no way my video just saw it and wanted to share. Please let me know what you think! Thank You!!!

message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't really know that much. I do know that the opening credits of this fan series is up on YouTube. If you would like me to I can post it, other than that the fan series is in process of being made by the create. When I found out more I will let you know.

Gemma | 277 comments Has anyone seen "Phantom of the Opera in 15 minutes" before? It's a parody of the movie I just found yesterday, and it's hilarious! Here's a link:

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish LOL!! Gemma, that's awesome!

I have a question for those who enjoy fanfiction -

Do you ever find it confusing to read fanfic? Does it make keeping the stories straight in your mind difficult?

message 13: by Gemma (new)

Gemma | 277 comments It does seem distracting sometimes, Dhestiny. Occasionally when I'm trying to read Leroux, I keep thinking of other stories I've read and end up sidetracked. *chuckles*

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The problem I have is more daunting than that and it's that I actually become confused. If I read one person's version of a character or something he/she has done, and then a month or so later I'm reading someone else's version of the same characters and situations, I find myself thinking... "what... I thought xxxxx happened?"

A sign of old age, I guess.

Not at all Dhestiny...your not alone :(

When I decided to write my book, I had not read any Phan Phiction, and did not read any while I was writing, as I wanted my ideas to be original. I did read Leroux, however. Now I have read three of the available books, Paisley's. Susan Kay, and Vicki's books, and no, I look at each one as a new story. And my own as another story. The Phantom is quite different in mine and the three I have read.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I have just such a hard time keeping them all straight. I'm glad you're able to, Anne.

message 34: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I don't know if this is the place to say this, but I finally read Susan Kay's Phantom.
I loved it.
It was so painfully beautiful. I cried multiple times and the whole time I was thinking, 'yes! Yes! This is who Erik really is. He isn't just a monster like other versions depict. This is him.'

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* (thepiratewench) | 413 comments Mod
This should go under "lets talk books" Way-chan..but thats ok..glad you liked it as much as I did,and I agree it really shows us the other side of Erik. All time favorite & keeper! :)

message 36: by Gemma (new)

Gemma | 277 comments This one isn't a funny story, but I couldn't keep a gem like this to myself. Trust me, this lady can write!

Thalia (thaliaanderson) | 136 comments Okay, this might be mean, but I can't help but make fun a little bit at this particular crossover fanfic.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5590813/1...

Come on. Christine and Erik just made a happy life for themselves in Connecticut? Their sixteen-year-old daughter acts like she's seven? Bahhhh, it's all so hilarious and kind of sad all at the same time.

message 43: by Alexandria (new)

Alexandria (airdnaxelA) | 20 comments LOL. Just read your latest chapters Gemma. I was in stitches. Erik talking about feng shui was brilliant and in the modern world and ordering pizza. Fab. Can't wait for the next installment. :)
