Ok, so there are a few on this list that I've tried to read but couldn't get through them, those have an asterisk by them. So it's actually 95 instead of 100.

Cathy (cgraceh) | 422 comments Oooh I saw this somewhere else too...great idea!! I might have to copy you girls too! Althought it'll definitely have to cross over into my total book challenge for the year since i highly doubt i can finish 200 in a year.

I'm going to have trouble completing this list since there are a few that I've tried to read and there are a few authors whom I've read and really didn't like the book - like Jenny Colgan and Lisa Jewell.

Kourtney (familywithbooks) | 1215 comments YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE NANNY DIARIES!??!?!? It's like I don't know you ;) Meanwhile I am trying to find the time to read the sequel still...

message 5: by Kourtney (new)

Kourtney (familywithbooks) | 1215 comments But I like you will not read these all - I am avoiding anything by Jenny Colgan and The Book of Jane. I read the author's book Emily Ever After and I wish I could have those 2 or 3 days back. NO NO NO!

I don't know, I may try to read The Nanny Diaries again. I started it and then watched the movie so I couldn't finish it. I did really like the movie though. And I do have the second one on it's way to me through Goodreads Swap. :)

I'm not the biggest fan of MK either after trying to read The Other Side of the Story and not being able to get into it, same with The Brightest Star in the Sky.

I wonder if I can swap out sequels for other books on the list. Like The Nanny Returns instead of The Nanny Diaries. And since Bitter is the New Black is on there, I'm wondering if I can use the rest of the Jen Lancaster books to replace the other ones I started and couldn't finish...

LOL!

YOU DON'T LIKE MARION KEYES!??!?!?!?!?!!?!? I read Under the Duvet and Futher Under the Duvet and it made me fall in love with her. I will be reading The Brightest Star...soon and also The Other Side of the Story. I heard these were more of the "heavier" types of books whereas Watermelon I think has a lighter tone. I shall see!

Oh, maybe I started with the wrong ones then? I'll give her another chance. I had the hardest time getting going on Jane Green because the first one of hers that I tried to read was Babyville and for whatever reason, just could not get into it. It took me a LONG time to pick up another one of hers and I'm SO glad I did!!

Stupid me, I was just checking the list to see if any of the books I've read this month were on there. And I laugh now, seeing the previous comment.

2. True Tales of a Drama Queen

Melanie (mcipher) | 372 comments There are some on there I've never heard of, I'm definitely going to have to "borrow" this for some to-read research! :)

Bianca (bbollinger) | 761 comments Stacy, did you like Goodbye Jimmy Choo? I bought the book recently, but every time I am about to start reading it I end up accidentally buying something else I want to read more. Haha. Did you like it?

I really liked it. I think it was the first book of hers that I read. It's been a few years (I think I read it in '07....) but I still remember really liking it. :)

3. Watermelon - Marian Keyes

Wow, so I only managed to read three of these books. That's kinda sad.....

Well, I'm continuing this into next year. I'll try to read more than three. :)

LOL, ok, so I only read one book from this list in 2012. I have GOT to keep better track of what's on this list when I come up with my task books!!

1. Heaven Can Wait - Cally Taylor

SUCH an awesome book, totally loved it and everyone should totally put it on their to read list!

Now, I'm going to make a new thread for 2013. :)
