Went and got a coffee and a boiled egg to keep me going, and to stink out the office - lol"

Yeah I used to take egg and mayonaise sandwiches to work for lunch, my boss came upstairs one lunchtime and said 'oh my god, who's eating dead body sandwiches"! And promptly stole one, turns out they were his favourite too but his wife hated the smell of them. So whenever I took egg sandwiches for lunch I had to promise to make him some too, he was a nice boss, one of his clients thought we were a couple! That was slightly embarassing, if neither of us had been married I think we might have been.

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) You are just a man magnet. I do love egg mayo sandwiches but they have to have raw onion in. My mum makes it like that and it is heaven.

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Go to Amazon and look for Lillian's List by Bradley Salters its a really good story, damn now I have to seriously consider buying myself a tablet or a kindle!

message 2454: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Yes you should and they are getting cheaper.

Destiny arrived the other day, didn't realise how big the book was. I wont start that just yet, already have 2 on the go at the moment - lol

message 2455: by Sharon (new)

It deserves a far higher price, keep the kleenex handy you'll need them! Right shower, post office and coffee with Geraldine in that order. Lol at least now she has a new nexpresso machine I might get a decent cup of coffee!

message 2457: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - enjoy and I will talk to you later.

I made the shower, I made the post office I passed on the coffee by the time I'd parcelled up the stuff to send back to England it was 11.30! Now I need to move my rear and start cooking lunch!

I hate chores!

Well the heavens have just opened up here, typical as I was just going to go over to the main hospital. Think I will wait a bit.

some folk have all the luck still raining here! Lunch is cooking, Chilli con Carne and rice today. Lol Alain has eaten Morrocan, Italian, and now Mexican this week and never left France!

message 2463: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Can actually pop out down the high street, no rain just sunshine now. Need to put the sindicate lottery on!

Oh bum, I forgot about the lottery, if I had half a brain I'd be dangerous!

I'm hungry, it's nearly 2 and no sign of Alain, nothing new there then!

message 2465: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Just got back from a little walk, was lovely out. Sat back at my desk and it poured down again. Typical

It's still raining here hasn't stopped since midday, its cold wet and miserable I put the electric fire on, I'm not going to walk round to the barn for some wood and get soaked and neither am I prepared to freeze!

message 2467: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I don't blame you. I just know it is going to fall down the moment I leave the office to get the train.

Tomorrow I have a me day after 1.30 pm Alain's playing palets, peace and quiet to write, after I do coffee with Geraldine.

I sincerely hope he doesn't come home with another cup, blooming dust harbourers, looking forward to packing them all in a box ready for when we move and forgetting where I put them!

message 2469: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - that's a good idea. I have peace and quiet tomorrow for a bit as Monst is at work, Renee will not get out of her pit until past midday (lazy cow). I will get the housework done and put the washing on. Then I will probably hit the crappy gatsby again!

You really love that book, I can tell, I think they delight in giving you the most boring books they can think of. I have one in the garage for my writing course cost me a small fortune to buy a secondhand book I wouldn't give shelf room by a none descript author and all because they thought it would be a good lesson on writing third party he said/she said. Got news for them I didn't need it I mastered it long before that!

Woohoo my new fridge has arrived, but I'm not supposed to plug it in until tomorrow so much to the chagrin of Sophie I left it in the box!

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning hun,

I spent the last hour ploughing through new followers and I still have 25 to go, I'm just going to do a daily thank you or I'll never get to chapter 23!

We have sunshine, finally. Sophie has a cough and cold I'm sneezing and am undecided whether it's allergy or the same.

My DASH diet books came and today I am adapting my diet to try and eat all the stuff in one day they say I need, and I chose to start on the lowest level at 1800 - 2200 calories per day, low fat but you get to eat nice food, but healthy.

Coffee time Ive earned it!

message 2472: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning,

I have just got to get a coffee, energy needed to start the long week ahead of me. I was not as good as I should have been. Did not read any of that boring book, was reading my library book instead - whoops - ;o)

message 2473: by [deleted user] (new)

Good morning
Did you both have good weekends?
I managed not to get lost on a walk - pretty good for me.

message 2474: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Hi both of you, yep not bad considering I had to troll the shops on a Saturday afternoon looking for a birthday pressie for Alain's friend, he forgot to tell me we were invited until he was heading out the door to play palets! Two bloody hours and all I could come up with was an olive tree at half price in Leclerc's!

I put my 'get Raider to release my book' plan in action on Twitter go take a look!

message 2475: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning Kerry,

It wasn't bad, just wish it was a bit longer, at least the sun was out yesterday and managed to sit in the garden for a short while, inbetween cooking the dinner. How are you?

message 2476: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I assume as they have now missed your deadline, you have set the wheels in motion apart from what we are doing on twitter etc!

I am going online to find a solicitor on a no win no fee and I am going to send them a letter by recorded delivery giving them one last chance 7 days or else and I am going to publish Cally's Secret as an e book on Amazon!

message 2480: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Nice, I like it.

message 2481: by [deleted user] (new)

I am fine but have a busy day ahead. I think it is a good idea to get a solicitor. Maybe just a legal letter would spur them to action.

message 2482: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Good Idea.

Well I have decided to go via Lulu.com and publish a small book of childrens poems for my step daughter and 2 neices as a small christmas present. Not sure If I will have it to buy, might just keep it as personal.

Perhaps, it will show them I am serious I will threaten them with legal action first in a recorded delivery letter which will give me time to find a Solicitor specialising in litigation of this type.

Good idea for the poems it will make a nice Christmas present for your niece's and Renee especially if you write a poem for each of them specially!

message 2484: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) I was thinking about that but that may take some time. Two of them are quite the diva's. I wrote one for Megan which is in my original book, may have to write a new one for this book. ;o)

Mmm poetry isn't my forte, though I do occasionally dabble but as you know it's just the silly stuff! I hope Alain isn't long I'm getting hungry, and my mac 'n' cheese is calling to me.

Did you read chapter 22 yet? the rest of the grey books have come today yipee I have reading material for a couple of days LOL!

message 2486: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Not read 23 yet, will read it at lunch. Fiona bought all 3 books on friday. She is halfway through book 2. She couldn't put it down - LOL

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments Morning hun

Time for coffee I think decaf expresso, hey I'm less stressed that way and I finally found a decaf worth drinking they usually taste like pretend coffee! This one is roasted here in Brittany Loic Deca!

1/4 way through 50 shades, had to give up and go to bed in the end cos I couldn't see the words! I have almost finished the additional on the prologue, I'll let you take a look when it's done see what you think!

Morning Kerry We got sunshine here in Brittany how about Charente Maritime?

message 2489: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Morning all,

Hey we actually have sunshine too. I braved it and put on short sleeves, glad I did. Having my coffee now and browsing through Amazon. Quietish day today as clinics on all day, will have to do all the typing tomorrow!

message 2490: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm feeling tired, and I wasn't late to bed either though trying to fight my way into it was interesting, Alain had all the bedclothes in a heap in the middle of the bed with him in the buff the other side of them!

message 2494: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) LOL - so how you finding book 2?

message 2495: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Weldon (sarahrweldon-author) | 6045 comments okay, I've got to the point where he's moved her back in to protect her from Leila after that my eyes wouldn't focus so I gave up! I have to say her descriptions of the sex scenes do nothing for me, to much information I think. She doesn't tease the reader, make them want it to happen to them. They're flat!

message 2496: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Atkinson (darkened_angel) Unless of course you are reading and watching Simon Baker at the same time ;o) Me and Fiona was looking at Chris Hemsworth yesterday and both agree he would be perfect for Mr Grey in teh film (he even has the smokey grey eyes, well he did in one of the pictures - lol.

Have you read Fifty shades Kerry?
