Judi (2cameras) | 2 comments Want to get a skin via amazon and see some are listed with feature of 'matte' - and others do not have that. Do the 'non-matte' skins continue the design across the reading area, with a faint, background pic -- and the 'matte' completely do not show the skin's design on the reading surface area? If non-matte - does th faint picture/design background distrack while reading, or does it go away, once the book loads?

It has nothing to do with an image in the reading area. It refers to the texture of the skin. Matte means it's a rough texture that doesn't reflect light. Non-matte means it's glossy and reflects light a bit.

Judi (2cameras) | 2 comments Thanks! that's what I was thinking but when they display the 'matte' ones, they show the reading area with 'amazon kindle' and when they display the non-matte ones, the picture faintly appears on the reading ares - so was concerned... Thanks, again. Christmas is over so now it's "Happy New Year!"
