Historical Fiction | 134 comments 1. Could someone please add this cover image to

2. Could we also adjust the title? The P. seems to be missing.

3. Could we link and They are different editions of the same book.

4. Brian O'Doherty seems to have multiple author pages. Could we merge them?

Thank you to whoever undertakes this and I'm sorry if I have incorrectly identified an issue.

Historical Fiction | 134 comments Sorry, one more thing. is not a hardcover. It is a paperback with 230 pages. The rest of the information is correct.

willaful I think I got it all.

willaful I'm not sure if I should change the hardcover to paperback -- sometimes publishers use the same ISBN for different formats. Let me do a little research and see if I can figure out what's going on.

willaful Okay, I'm seeing enough hardcovers from small booksellers to make me think it's probably genuine. Can you manually add an alternate edition for the softcover?

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 2413 comments A manually added paperback edition with the same ISBN cannot have the ISBN in the ISBN field, but you can put its ISBN in the book description field.

Are you sure the paperback has the identical ISBN? some copies of books show ISBNs for multiple editions, not just the one in hand.

If it is the identical ISBN, after the paperback edition has been added, it will need to be combined with the other editions.

Check all editions in the database before manually adding a book:

It sounds as though an alternate cover is not an issue.

Historical Fiction | 134 comments The cover isn't an issue, the edition simply had no cover when I first posted. The issues were with the author having multiple pages.

I'm not sure what information you need to add the paperback edition. Please advise.
