If you find any great websites to get ebooks at... let us know the website! :)

BTW, a great way to get free ebooks is through your library. Many libraries have ebooks available to download in multiple formats. :)

stormhawk | 1184 comments I found a site chock full of PDFs, but I suspect that there are copyright issues with it. (think napster in the old days).

Joe (skinsjoe) | 100 comments A great website to get free Kindle books is Pixel of Ink. I have probably acquired 50 free books from Pixel of ink over the past few months that I have been using it. They can email you or you can like them on Facebook and watch for their posts. Here is their website.

I probably should have gotten a Kindle, but ... I have a Nook. Hoping this site will include more Nook books.

I find it odd that the one complaint about Kindle WAS that you could only download from Amazon.com. Kindle was the last holdout on allowing people to download from your local library, which is why I purchased a Nook.

Luckily, where I live there is a great inter-library loan system and many free ebooks for the borrowing. ;o)

Liz,

My Library does the same thing. I think Amazon was just waiting for competition to get to a level where they had no choice. If you have a Facebook account, this one is supposed to be good for Nook users. Check it out. https://www.facebook.com/nooklovers
