I htink I want to participate in that one, but after reading Claudia's beautiful winning collection from last year I'm well aware that the competition will be awesome!
That said, I like the idea of (for the first time) thinking of my flashes as a "collection." I've been shifting them around in my mind, contemplating different tables of contents.
I wonder what's better -- variation or cohesiveness? "The Sky is a well" felt homogenous, as did "Famous Fathers" -- as if the stories were selected because they touch on similar themes.
My flashes are kind of all over the place right now.
