Lol, it is a lot! That's probably in the time span of 3 weeks or a month. I'll never get them all read!

I also was waiting for Fault in our Stars to go down in price, so I just nabbed it. And read it again. And cried. Such a great book.
D wrote: "lol between you and Heidi... Jellicoe Road it is! I'll start it tonight! I'm super excited!!"*squee* Yay! Just be warned you will be totally lost for like 150 pages but it is so worth it! Come back and give an update!
I did and I loved it! OMG there were moments were I had to stop mid-page and walk around my house because I couldn't actually process what was happening to MY characters! I felt that involved... I was so engrossed in the last half I couldn't stop reading! THANK YOU for the recommendation. It was amazing!

That ability to turn someone to something AMAZING like Jellicoe and Melina Marchetta. And to have that person respond so positively and to GET IT!!! Uh, that made my day. I'm so glad you liked it. Now you have to work your way through the rest of her books. You will NOT be disappointed :)
If just a comment made your day, then there are no words to describe how happy I was to read that book! Best read so far this summer... now to finish the rest of Heidi's list. lol
Yay! D- I was also very excited you loved it too. It is always nice when someone else loves something you do. Sometimes beloved books are like my babies!
Well, Heidi, I leave for vacation in a few days and am taking a bunch of your "babies" with me! I can't wait to read them. If they all turn out as good as Jellicoe, it will be such a great break!

I just reread
and
and then got
from the library. So, I've spent all of yesterday and a large portion of today laughing and crying. And I feel emotionally exhausted, but so so happy. I freaking loved this series and Boundless was fantastic. So happy with how it wrapped up :)
It's been a couple of days since I'm in Virginia beach for a trip with my father and grand-mother and I had such a great day today. I went to Barnes and noble for the first time (since I live in Canada)and got 3 books, then I went to a used bookstore and got 4 books. At Barnes and noble I got
and
. And then at the used books store I got
and
I just read
and
I loved Claire. It is a very well done and sweet feel good Historical Romance.Chaos was only a 3. It was well written, but the blend of Contemporary and Mythology was a miss.

These are all giveaway wins, so I thank the book bloggers and the wonderful authors for all of them!!
Also, our library had been having a 50% off sale all through July, so I did get alot of books there. I won't put all of those. And, I have done some nice hauls at thrift stores lately, too.
Got these from the discard cart at the library for 25cents each.
And got these from the library as well.
I actually really like it. It's kinda simple light reading, nothing extravagant. But, I like the idea of it, like the characters. I'm almost done with the last book now and I think it's shaping up to finish well. As a series overall, I'd probably give it 3.8 stars.
In the midst of my frustration with 'waiting a whole year for the next book in the series', I've been trying to go back to series that are already finished so that I can plow through them and not have the yearly re-read. One that I loved, but read probably two years ago now, was Starcrossed. Come Monday I'll get Starcossed from the library and then I'll have all three.
I'm excited :)

So my local high school's library has to get rid of a bunch of books in order to put in video gaming systems (I'm not joking). I saved as many books as my arms could carry. lol One of the books I got was Saving Francesca. I am ready to travel back down the amazing emotional tunnel that is Melina Marchetta!! If this is 1/2 of what Jellicoe Road was, I may have a new favorite author! haha

I just ordered my first Gillian Flynn and I'm so exited
.I also went shopping a few days ago and got some books. I got
because I think I will read the rest of this series soon and I also found a few books that come out tomorrow. I know that I shouldn't gave but I couldn't resist and I got
. It's been a year since I read the first book and I loved it so I was too exited to not get it. Then, my eyes caught the sight The Crown of Embers and there was a book next to it. At first I though it was the first book in the series but then I realized, this bookstore never have copy in hardback of the first book in series once the paperpack is release so I went closer and it was
. I had to get it! I didn't really liked The Crown of Embers, I thought it was quite boring and I had some other issues with it but I'm still really exited about the last book.
I just got

I think I have an addiction to free and cheap kindle books.....
