Loved it. I think the best of the series.

A great read. Delves deeper into Tony's personal life.

Melodie (melodieco) | 3644 comments I've had THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO sitting here for awhile now. There's a challenge on another board I frequent to pick up a book you've been hearing all kinds of good stuff about and everyone says you should read in November. I think I'm going to use it as my book for that since I haven't been motivated to pick it up!

Susie Fevella (susieinks) | 1653 comments I need to try The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo too! The lady at Border's was trying to talk me into it the last time I was in there.

It's getting harder to shock us.

Dawn | 1320 comments Susie and Melodie...it would be a great November read. Don't let the first couple pages deter you...they were a little dry but the story picked up quickly.
Marcy, I've heard the series gets better with each book - loving the second book so far.
Barry - so true!

Dawn, I started listening to The Burying Place and within minutes realized that I had to have skipped over a book, as Jonathan Stride referenced his last case and it was definitely not the one I remembered. Luckily the mention was not a spoiler and I dropped it like a hot potato and requested In the Dark. I love this series.

Mary/Quite Contrary Phillips | 459 comments I love Brian Freeman too. I think he's one of the best unknown writers out there at the moment. I have his standalone I got from the UK, but have been overwhelmed getting ready for hubby r&r and bcon, haven't started it yet.
