Why is the book named speak? the main character is an oputcast as she stated so why would she be speaking she does not really speak to anyone.

I think the title is supposed to be contradictory. People who have been abused are "without voice" in some ways, so perhaps they're relating her to an abused person? It feels like she wants to say something but knows no one would listen.

because, she can't speak...she is hiding her words because of her past...future and present.
