Love lobster. MMMMMmmmmm. A Maine lobster, caught in the morning, eaten at night with nothing but melted butter.... I love all seafoods, I think (except crazy things like urchins). Possibly there is nothing better than fresh mussels with melted butter. OH THE HUMANITY.

message 10: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) OY, LG...my husband loves mussels too. Gack! I tried cockles once in England, it was like chewing on a rubber band that tasted like dirty sea water, I spat it out.

I love lobster though.

That wasn't the cockles, that was English cooking.

Félix (habitseven) Clams are good, scallops are better -- but mussels do not do anything for me at all.

message 13: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Mmmm Scallops are lovely!

message 14: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Great big meaty ones. Seared lightly. Lime juice squoze over. Salt & pepper.

I like muscles; I think they taste like the smell of the ocean.

message 16: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) Stop it, I only brought a bagel and PB for lunch today. I was lazy.

Yup, as do oysters. Actually, that's why I don't like them.

Meels (amelia) That's too much muscles! His head looks WAY too small to fit on that body.

Phil | 11694 comments Dude, has anyone seen my shoulders?

message 22: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) He does look rather lustful after his left arm, doesn't he?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments Ick, ick, ick!!! And Amelia, yes, he does.

message 24: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Better?

message 25: by Meels (new)

Meels (amelia) That top bit does look the size of a normal guy's shoulders! I see it, Bun!!

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

I like Larry's mussels not his muscles.

So, anyway. I'm back from licking my wounds, and I want to say that the title of this thread needs some more punctuation.
Should it be:

Beware! Lobster Poo! (don't step in the exoskeleton's excrement!)

Or

Beware, Lobster Poo! (you, poo, are about to be flushed/eaten)

message 29: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I'll take B.
