These two also have the same ISBN, but different covers and pages counts, so we keep them split, right?

M. | 39 comments So I have the Book 'Night Play' by Sherrilyn Kenyon with

ISBN: 0749936126
Published 2005 by Piatkus Books (no month or day specified)
362 pages (the actual story), 317 pages (with the excert at the end of the book)

The ISBN and the text in back are the same as

but the cover is the same as

and the page numbers are different than both cases (and do I consider it with the excerpt or without?)

What shall I do?

This happens quite frequently. Books get reissued with new covers but old ISBNs. When this happens, we create an alternate-cover edition. I have created one for your book here:
