Katie Cassidy was amazing in Supernatural as Ruby. She was the first one to come to mind as Mac based on her performance in that series because she can kick some serious butt, but she's knock out gorgeous and can pull it off blonde or brunette.

I picture V'lane being more like Gabriel Aubry.. to me he just better suits that gorgeous, sex-god vibe.
I imagined him about 24 too. Barrons in his 30's, but Mac, Christian, Dreamy Eyed Guy all in their early 20's.Good pic for Christian.
The guy for Jericho isn't bad at all. But I always saw the model David Gandy as Jericho. And I see Gabriel Aubry as V'lane. Though their acting may not have developed yet or at all, it might be worth a try if there's a movie?
I LOVE the Fever series but I don't know about a movie...I just don't think any movie could do it justice and I doubt there's anyone out there who'll be good enough to play the characters for me LOL.
Has anyone ever seen Matt Bomer, (White Collar on USA network) He is gorgeous and should be dreamy eyed guy. His eyes are amazing.

Or play out the INTENSE ummmm....pri-ya scenes. LOL
I don't think I would actually want a movie. I would prefer if they made this series in to a TV series, that way we would get alot more time and details. This series is too GRAND for 2 hours a book.

The rest I can learn to live around :) Tv would make better sense, a movie could never cover enough ground even if they had sequels.

Oh heck yeah!!! I agree!
HBO? No! They stuff sucks. I haven't seen any shows on STARZ before. I just want this to be the best possible and no screw ups if that's not too much to ask for =DDDD

That's a pretty hot JZB!
Samina-I've never heard of him prior to Ashley posting that picture of him but I looked him up and he's gorgeous.

Totally! He matches JZB and another male from a series I love so I saved the pic of him on my phone ;) he's lustworthy that's for sure!
True Blood sucks? Carnival sucked? Rome sucked? Curb Your Enthusiasm sucks? Six Feet Under sucked? I guess we have to agree to disagree. HBO does have the biggest budget to get shows made and the biggest name recognition in movie channels right now so it makes sense they could afford to produce a series.
I haven't watched that yet but from what I hear its really great. Hopefully it gets a second season. I was wondering if I should read the books before watching the show.....
I also enjoy HBO, specially Trueblood and Game of Thrones, so I would be thrilled if they picked up this series. I also wouldn't mind if SyFy or Starz picked it up.GoT has already been signed for a second season Liz. Which is awesome cause it is seriously a great show.

Awesome, I'll definitely check my on-demand and start watching GoT. The honey keeps hearing great things from his friends and he read the books long ago.
We were both hesitate after we saw what network TV did to The Sword of Truth novels. They really should have warned those of us who read the books that the only things we might recognize would be the character names. It was really a shame :(
Liz...I haven't read the Game of Thrones book but one of my friends did and she said they stuck to the storyline in the book...believe it or not!! I want to read the books too but I really enjoyed the series!
I know they just had the season finale so now will be a good time for me to catch up and read the books. I like hearing they remained true to the books. I think of it as an insult to the book author when they stray so far from the story the readers fell in love with :)
Have you guys seen this? A friend in another GR group sent me the link. http://collider.com/dreamworks-darkfe...
Yay!
I Googled the topic and there's a lot of industry talk about this project, some comparing it to the Harry Potter series. That should give you some idea of the magnitude and scale.
Question, so if Dreamworks bought the right to all 5 books, does that guarantee they'll make all 5 books into movies?
No, it doesn't but since it takes all five books to tell the story and they're a great studio, I think they will probably figure out how to produce the whole story. It could be multiple movies or it could be one long one.
KMM posted this on Facebook earlier:The Dreamworks Facebook page is asking do we want the Fever series made? It's time to show them why you're called the Moning Maniacs! Go to their fan page and let your voice be heard:

A movie? http://www.slashfilm.com/dreamworks-h...Harry potter? I don't think so. Those are books kids can read, but I wouldn't want a kid to read the fever series. . .Pretty sure a movie would have to be rated R to be fair to Barrons.
