Lyla Lougee (LylaLougee-Author) | 32 comments Okay, I don't exactly know where to put this but I want to say something since it's really bugging me. My Dad is big on Conservatives and he's super strict so when they want to show the Obama address on Education in my class at school today, by Dad said NO WAY! I'm not going to go into politics about it, but what do you do when you're parents are that strict? Any advice?

Jamie | 3 comments Wow, that is strict! Did he tell your teacher that you couldn't watch it? What do YOU want to do? I don't know what advice to give you, but I have a lot of different opinions than my parents, and if it was me, I would just go ahead and watch it. BTW, my dad is just the opposite. He felt the same way about George Bush!

"Parents... You want to hurt them but you can't no matter how tempting that knife looks..."

Talked it with my friend and that was her response.
