Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments Hi everyone. I've added the first draft of something I'm writing at the moment. Thought it would be good arena to test it out and invite comments.

Realised this morning that goodreads would be a good place to do this.

Kevin I want to buy your book but can't see from the Goodreads entry where to get it from? I want to read it first before I look at the first draft of the sequel you've got on your Goodreads author page. Can you direct me to the right place? ta :)

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments It's through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and a few other o/s. Still working on getting local distribution.

http://www.amazon.com/Drama-Queens-Sc...

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/book...

I'm working on e-booking it early next week

Also, apologies for adding it under 'Australian Authors Spotlight' - still navigating through this site and didn't realise it would come up as a main heading.

message 4: by Mandapanda (new)

Mandapanda No that was me that moved it under Author Spotlight. I wanted to put your name out there! Most groups have a section for authors to talk about their work and events, competitions etc. Moderators have the ability to move msgs around slightly to put them under the best headings. I hope that's alright with you! I'm off to get your book now...

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments My first born has found a home on Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Dram...

(A recommendation from so many marketing blogs)

If you get the chance, drop in on him for a cup of tea or a vodka and tonic, your choice. Most of all, he just needs to be 'liked'.

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments My dead Australian characters are finally making it to Australia. The Bookshop in Darlinghurst, Sydney is going to stock it and to my surprise, its shown up on the Angus & Robertson site - http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/book...

It's interesting to compare prices of the import edition (from the UK) here in Australia, to the online US, UK etc price. We do pay twice as much generally for our novels.

Congratulations Kevin.

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments Thanks to Blip and her wonderful m/m romance literary podcast 'The Daisy Chain' - http://daisycrazy.net/

We skyped on a Tuesday morning (Monday evening for her) and we spoke for what seemed over an hour. To be honest I probably gabbed more than her. She did a great job of cutting my ramblings back.

Thanks again Blip. Happy to be a part of the show.

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments Thank you to Andrew Shaw of the Melbourne Community Voice (MCV) for giving me my first review (page 13, 10 Nov 2010, issue 513) - "the book contains some witty scenes, great bitchy one liners and glimpses of a comic sensibility finding its feet."
http://gaynewsnetwork.com.au/mcv/2010...

Also, the book trailer is up for a popularity contest. Go and vote at You Gotta Read Videos - http://yougottareadvideos.blogspot.com - for the month of November 2010

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments Thanks to Teresa Geering, author of 'The Eye of Erasmus' for recently posting a review on her blog of Drama Queens.

In her own words - "I was very unsure about reviewing this book as I am not a fan of the theatre at all. However it was not what I expected and I was pleasantly surprised."

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments STOP PRESS - I'm no longer a published author (for the time being)

The current edition of Drama Queens with Love Scenes is now out of print.

Have just signed a contract for a revised edition to be released in 2012 through Charles River Press.

Champagne is flowing!

Mandapanda I don't know whether to comiserate or congratulate Kevin!! LOL. Very happy that you've signed a new contract. You have a very cool MySpace page which I visited a couple of times, listened to some great music and drooled over your pics of Dan Sultan. But now I can't remember where I saw the link. Can you put a link here? Thanks.:)

Sorry Mandy, just noticed this from January. The MySpace for the radio program doesn't exist anymore, but the Facebook one does.

Just search for The Rhythm Divine

Kevin Klehr (goodreadscomkevink) | 78 comments Help, I've misplaced someone. A lovely young gay author either started following me on twitter or friend requested me on Facebook. I think you may have found me through Goodreads. I did return the request (if it was Facebook) or followed you back...but now I can't find you in my lists.

Please recontact me...I've misplaced you somehow.
