Stephanie asked for more games and stuff, so here is my offering to start...

The Letter Match Game: The first person enters a noun (person, place, or thing) from any Karen Chance book or short story. The next person must enter a noun that starts with the LAST letter of the previous word.
Example:
First word entered is "Dante's"
Next person must enter a noun starting with "S". And so on until we give up.
Rules:
1. no repeats
2. please put the noun first, then any supporting words/citations in parenthesis following, for example:
shotgun (as in"sawed-off, double-barreled"; Pritkin's favorite weapon; referenced in CbS ch 2).
This keeps it easy to know exactly which word must be used to select the noun for the next entry.
3. please make sure your entry does, in fact, appear in a Karen Chance book or short story...don't just guess. If you aren't sure, please don't enter it. To do otherwise is disrespectful to those who do take the time to find a word that is within the rules.
4. if your entry is obscure, please provide book and page number so others can look it up if they want more info.
5. if someone has provided a citation like book/page number along with their entry, please take the time to look it up and read it rather then simply firing off another message to ask about it. This keeps the flow of the game smoother.
6. please note that "proper nouns" are nouns that are the names of a person, place or thing; they are easily found in Karen Chance's stories because they start with capital letters. Proper nouns can be composed of more than one word, and in this game the first word of a multiple-word proper noun is the one to be used for initial letter-matching and the last word is used to select the next word. For example, "Silver Circle" is a noun that starts with "S" and ends with "E". The next entry must be a noun that starts with "E".

I'll start...

Louis-Cesar

(next word entered must start with "R")

message 29: by Mai (new)

Mai (maisydaisy) Lycanthrope is a were. Weres are mentioned.

Trial.

As in "What about the girl?" "She'll get a trial." "A trial she'll lose!" Once again, no books were involved, just my memory. Oh yeah.

If the word does not appear in a KC book/short story, then it is not a valid entry. This isn't the find-a-synonym game.
