How much do you annotate?

Bakari | 22 comments I’m curious. I annotate non-fiction e-books a lot, and I think the Kindle as well as other e-reading devices and software are sorely lacking the area of annotation tools.

Are annotation tools important to you as an e-reader?

stormhawk | 542 comments I don't think I've tried to annotate anything on my Kindle as yet. I read a lot of nonfiction, occasionally of the sort that I like to highlight and make notes on physical copies, but those sorts of books (often on meditation and other spiritual practices) I'm still buying DTBs, as I tend to pass those books along to others or lend them out.

Bakari | 22 comments Storm, is there a reason why you don't use the tools with your ebooks?

Casgoc | 19 comments I like to annotate on non fiction and find it cumbersom on my DX. I had a K1 and had hoped it would be better on the DX. I belong to a book club and would keep more notes on fiction if I didn't find it so cumbersom.
