I am trying to make my way back to Co-pilot. Some of the best TV is the early seasons of the Office. If you want a consistently funny show, watch seasons 2-4 of the The Office. These seasons are constantly bringing the laughs, and it truly shows that the show is an awesome ensemble show. There was a marathon of season two and three yesterday, and it was awesome. Some of my favorite episodes include: The Dundies, Casino Night, Beach Games, The Job, and Fun Run. I would definitely say check out seasons 2-4. It makes me sad that the past season of The Office was so inconsistent.

Also, I will watch almost any reality show. I know some of them are so trashy, but some of them are quality entertainment.

Also another show that has kind of jumped the shark pre-maturely, but was really good especially in its first 13 episodes, Glee. i am a little nervous with what i've heard with season 2, and with the subpar part two of season one. Season two has so many guest stars and too many theme episodes, but if you watch the first 13 episodes, you'll get down to what the heart of the show is about and how it was a good show, and still has potential to be great once again.

Todd | 89 comments I agree with you Adam. I think that Glee has become so sensationalized that it can't ever go back to what it was. It's kind of ironic considering it's a show about a glee club, which in and of itself should be over the top and theatrical, but it's what has happened to the show. I feel like the plot has taken a back seat to the guest stars of each show, and the writers have to work to incorporate their songs into the plot, which always doesn't work out. However, on the flip side the show has brought a revival in musical theater and probably high school theater as well, which have usually been characteristically "uncool". So, all in all there are growing pains for the show, but I hope that they can return to their roots as a solid show with a good plot line and supporting numbers that play into the episodes.

I agree with you todd, I think Ryan Murphy the creator needs to go back to what made Glee, the hit it is. If you look back the first 13 episodes won the show a golden globe and SAG award for best comedy. hopefully it can go back to its glory days

Ok so since most of my shows had their series finales last year I'm looking for a whole new set this year. Here's what I'm going to record on my DVR and give a shot too:

Lone Star (Monday's on Fox)
The Event (Monday's on NBC)
Chase (Monday's on NBC)
Running Wilde (Tuesday's on Fox)
Undercovers (Wednesday on ABC)
My Generation (Thursday's on ABC)
Outsourced (Thursday's on NBC)

I'll probably wind up sticking with two of them, but I'm going to give them a try anway.

I'm hoping I'm impressed by something!

Watched the first episode of Running Wilde. HYSTERICAL. Def going to be giving that one a shot. Haven't watched the others I taped yet. Glee's season opener was great too. I enjoyed that they made fun of themselves a lot.

The season premiere of Glee reminded me of the first 13 episodes from last season. It was funny, but the musical numbers were awesome and added to the story. Lea Michele singing What I did for love, was AWESOME!! hopefully the season will continue this way.

I'm really enjoying the Event! Also Chase is a lot better than I was expecting it to be.

Todd and I were flipping through the channels the other day and found out about a show called Iconoclasts. It's on the Sundance channel. I'm not even going to tell you what it's about - you just have to go check it out. It's that good.

I am also enjoying Modern Family. The first season is hysterical. I can see why it won the Emmy for best comedy

Does anyone remember the series of shows on PBS that took real families and threw them back in different time periods? There was Regency House, Frontier House, Colonial House, 1900 House, and a bunch more. Damn those shows were soooooo good!

Adam you would love them because of all the history in them.

I'm really hurting as I type this, but I am really disappointed in what Glee has become. There has been some really good plots that are really relevant to wants happening in society (bullying of teenagers who are gay), but the writing has become so sloppy and the way the writers are making the characters are so unlikeable. Take example, Rachel. Yes I understand, she's suppose to be a diva and self absorbed, but I never see her as a malicious person. The writers make her so unlikeable, which I don't think she is suppose to be. And also they are making the others characters reaction to her, so out of left field. It just is very sloppy writing and frankly I am disappointed. If you know me, you know I love Glee, but it is no longer my favorite show on TV. It has been taken over by Modern Family. A show which is consistently on an A+ plus level.
