In the past 2 years I've visited Nicaragua, Panama, and Guatemala. I would like to learn more about the history and politics of Central America. I recently read a book that I would highly recommend - Through a Glass Darkly by Thomas Melville. It's about the American Holocaust in Guatemala through the experience of a Maryknoll priest who lived in Guatemala during that time. I just recently picked up another book at the library - Havana Nocturne by TJ English, but I haven't started it yet. Does anyone have an other recommendations?

Juan.
