Steps to roleplaying your cat:

1) Understand that this is a fanfiction of warriors. If you join you are expected to rp like Warriors. If you are interested in joining but haven't read the books, you can still join, but please make an effort :)

2) Read and become familiar with the rules.

3) Create your cat. Come up with a name, what you want them to look like, who they are, and a personality. There are also opther details like mates, kin, and apprentices/mentors that I can help you with.

4) Roleplay your new cat.
When roleplaying....
~Talk in third person, example: Dapplenose sighed.
~Use (( )) around something if it's out of character. example: ((Hi!))
~Do not powerplay. Powerplaying is giving your cat excessive power. this iis an example of what NOT to do:
post by person one: Stormshadow hissed and scratched Ravenfrost in the back.
post by person two: Ravenfrost ignored the tiny scratch that only went in a few milimeters and bit Stormshadow on the leg, breaking his leg.
these are two things wrong with this. It's making Ravenfrost invisible "Ravenfrost ignored the tiny scratch that only went in a few milimeters", and you are seriously injuring the other person's charrie "and bit Stormshadow on the leg, breaking his leg".
~Do NOT roleplay someone else's charrie. The only exception is the community characters (No Person Charries) that are free for anyone to use for the purposes of patrols, ect.

An explanation of the charracter profiles:

name:
gender:
rank: kit, apprentice, warrior, elder, or an important rank with permission
apearance: What they look like. If it's a worded desctiotion, please provide pelt and eye color. To post a picture, post <img src="put the link here">.
personality: Please explain with a little detail what they're like. Sometimes you really don't know until you start RPing them, but that's okay. Just put something that will give others a guideline, and no TBAs please!
kin: (mom, dad, sister, brother, ect... please put in parenthesis next to the name how they're related)
apprentice/mentor: (If you only have an apprentice, delete "/mentor"; if you only have an mentor, delete "apprentice/. If you don't have either, leave it as what they're most likely to have next and say "too young" (if a kit) or "open".)
mate: If it's a crush, then replace "mate" with "crush". If they don't have either yet, say "none" if you don't want a mate or "open" if you do want one.
other: Any other details.

Here's an example of a charracter:

name: Sundapple
gender: she-cat
rank: warrior
appearance: Sundapple has a dappled golden pelt with a white muzle and pale green eyes.
personality: Sundapple is bright and curius with an energetic and out-going personality to match. She is very friendly and is not afraid to try new things.
kin: Skyfern (sister), Pebblepaw, Mudpaw (sons), Featherpaw (daughter)
mate: Eagleclaw
apprentice: Brackenpaw

About Warriors:

Warriors is about cats that live in a forrest. They live in four clans: ShadowClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, and WindClan, each with their own territories. Each Clan has a leader and a deputy that helps the leader and becomes leader when the current leader dies or retires.

StarClan is where the dead cats go, unless they were evil, because if they were evil they go to the Dark Forest. StarClan can give the Clans signs and prophecys warning them of the future. They have limmited powers. The Clans meet once a moon in peace under truce to exchange news, and if they break the truce, StarClan will cover the moon with a cloud (usually).

Kits become apprentices when they are 6 moons (months) old. As apprentices, they have a warrior mentor train them to become warriors and learn hunting and fighting skills. Apprentices are also responsible for feeding the elders and getting rid of their ticks and fleas. When they are ready, they become warriors. Warriors defend the Clan, hunt, go on border patrols, and mentor apprentices. When a cat gets really old or is too injured to defend the Clan, it retires and becomes an elder.

Warriors and apprentices will go on hunting patrols and border patrols. On hunting partols, they catch food and bring it back. They're not allowed to eat the food they catch until the rest of the Clan (especially queens, kits, and elders) is fed. But if they catch something on a border patrol, they can eat it. Border patrols are patrols that check the borders and renew the scent markers. If they catch another cat on their teritory, they challenge them, but only fight if nescesary.

Cats are suposed to be only loyal to their own Clan and cannot be mates with cats from other Clans. Cats must listen to their leader. Often, the leader will consult with the deputy, medicine cat, elders, and senior warriors before making an important decision. The leaders' names end with "star". For example, Bluestar. Leaders go to the moonstone to recieve their nine lives and leader name and to seek guidance from StarClan.

Medicine cats are the healers and recieve and interpret prophecies, dreams, and omens from StarClan. There is one medicine cat who takes on an aprentice when they feel they've found a worthy cat. They train their apprentice in the ways of a medicine cat and teach them the herbs. When they feel the apprentice is ready, they give them their full medicine cat name which is no different from any warrior name, but the apprentice stays their apprentice until the medicine cat dies. A medicine cat can never have a mate or kits. They are friends with the other Clans and medicine cats because being the healers, they are outside of Clan rivalries. However, they do learn a few battle moves for self-defense. When a medicine cat goes on a patrol or alone to another Clan to ask for help or anything else, it's viewed as non-threatening. All the medicine cats go to the moonstone to share toungues (meet) with StarClan every half-moon.

Warrior Names:

When kits (babies or little kids that aren't apprentices yet), they get a first part of their name that the mother cooses, then the second half is "kit". A warrior name usually consists of an inanimate thing, prey, color, or characteristic, example, "Berrykit" or "Whitekit". When they are apprentices, the "kit" becomes "paw". When they become warriors, the "paw" becomes a second name that the leader chooses. The warrior name can be body parts like tail, eyes, fur, pelt, nose, ear, ect, or they can be really unique, like Willowshine, Berryfrost, Sundapple, or Honeypool.

These are all realistic first parts of warriors names:

Ash
Bark
Beech
Berry
Birch
Black
Bracken
Bramble
Breeze
Cedar
Cinder
Cloud
Clover
Crow
Dapple
Dawn
Dove
Dew
Dusk
Dust
Ember
Feather
Fern
Fire
Flame
Fox
Frost
Golden
Gorse
Gray
Hare
Hazel
Heather
Holly
Honey
Ice
Ivy
Jay
Kestrel
Leaf
Leopard
Lion
Mallow
Minnow
Mint
Misty
Mole
Morning
Moss
Moth
Mouse
Mud
Nettle
Night
Oak
Olive
Otter
Owl
Pebble
Petal
Pine
Poppy
Rain
Rat
Raven
Reed
Ripple
Robin
Rock
Sage
Sand
Sedge
Shrew
Sky
Smoke
Snake
Snow
Soot
Sorrel
Sparrow
Speckle
Spider
Squirrel
Stone
Storm
Sun
Swallow
Tawny
Thistle
Thorn
Tiger
Toad
Vole
Weasel
Web
White
Willow

Star isn't a propper warrior name because that name is reserved for StarClan (and can you imagine a leader names Starstar?) Things like Ivory and Diamond, and human objects like Bell or Sugar aren't warrior names either because cats don't know about those things.

Allisa White (allisawhite) Did you copy this from your other groups? It sounds familiar.

I copied it mostly from this group, actually. It's just a slightly different way of organizing it.

~ Talk in third person, example: "Dapplenose sighed."

~ Use (( )) around something if it's out of character. For example: ((Hi!))

~ Do not powerplay (give your cat excessive power). This is an example of what NOT to do...
Person One: "Stormshadow hissed and scratched Ravenfrost in the back."
Person Two: "Ravenfrost ignored the tiny scratch and bit Stormshadow on the leg, breaking his leg."
...because it's making Ravenfrost unreasonably hard to beat and Ravenfrost is badly injuring Stormshadow without Person One's consent.

~ Do not roleplay someone else's charracter without their permission.

~ Do not make your charracter know/notice something it shouldn't. For example, Bluetail shouldn't follow Featherpaw out of camp if Feather posted that nobody noticed her leaving! This is also rude and can affect a plot they may have had.

~ Try to use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
