Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) Teacher: Anomalocaris

Everyone listen to them and follow their lead of awesomeness in sword handling.

I'M NOT A HER!!!

message 3: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) I fixed it. Sorry, your name is so freakin long. Plus, I always mess up on name generics....always. I have much history doing that. Don't take it personally.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

(Anomalocaris is an aquatic, prehistoric-swimming-arthropod)
It's okay.

message 5: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) (Oh. I so knew that.)
Sorry. =P

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

(Really?)
No problem.

message 7: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) (No.)
Thanks. Glad you forgive me.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Sure.

message 9: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) *nods*

message 10: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) So teacher....whaddya want to teach us today?

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

The basics of holding a sword, properly.

message 12: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) Okipoki. *looks around* Whoops, I need to buy a sword.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Sure you do... *hands her a wooden sword*

message 14: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) Thanks. *practices jabbing it at a rock*

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem, okay, so make sure you hold the sword with one or two hands, depending on what you're wielding.

message 16: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) *grabs with one hand* It's pretty light. I think one hand is fine.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

That mean you would probably be able to hold another sword or a shield in the other.

message 18: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) Smart. I see.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

Always, make use of both hands, *tosses her a shield*

message 20: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) *catches, fumbles, then straps it on* Thanks.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem

message 22: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) *practices with it*

Mind if I join Anh, and do daggers count for this class

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

I assume this class could be a melee-weapon class and yes.

Thanks man. So Anh, I'm really good with attacking fast and swiftly with my daggers but how can I increase the power of the strikes so it will inflict more damage?

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

You could use some dual daggers, the sharpness of the knives, and how you hold the knives. You could experiment on the dummies if you want.

Thanks, Oh and Heating up the blade is it better than leaving them room Temp.? Like when there heated they can slice through armor and other weapons but when it hit flesh it may burn it but the blood dries making it hard to make your enemy bleed out.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, depeneds on what creature you're fighting. An ice-elemental creature would be weak against a fire-elemental weapon.

OK, * spares with dummy *

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

Do you fight people or dummies? or both?

♫♫☺Allie☺♫♫ (alliwicious) | 57 comments I would think both. But, I'm not sure.
