Yo, peeps. Read the book "Poison Study", which is our "currently reading" book. Then talk about about it.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
It's just Poison Study.

It's by Maria V. Snyder.

I'm number 2 at the library. Hopefully it will get here quicker than last time :P

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
*goes of to read it* I need to do read it quickly, because I don't remember if the implied sex scene is in the first or second in the series. I think second, so we're good.

message 5: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
If its implied then I don't think that's bad.

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments I love this series!!

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
Yay! Another person!

message 8: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments Yup. I loved the idea of it. And the implied stuff didn't go that deeply, so I was okay with it. At least that's from my memory, it's been a long time since I read it. But from what I remember, it was really interesting and good.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
*nodnod* That's why I suggested it. I think we could har sone pretty cool conversations.

Have you read her second trilogy?

message 10: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments I'm not sure. What's it called? I think I heard about it.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
It's been a million years since I read it... It's about the ghrl who can maje blown glass animals and trap magic inside? That's one thing I remember from it.

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Someone who cannot spell such a simple word such as "I've."

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
And what other mod would have done that? Hmm?

message 31: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
WAIT. CAN NON-MODS edit that???

@Maria: Awesome, thank you! :)

DA- I was very close to saying a bad word. Gah. Now anyone could have wrote that. I MUST FIND OUT WHO. EVERYONE MUST HELP ME. Otherwise I will be a permanent fit of rage.

Let me explain my rage. I am so raged out because to me it feels like vandalism. Poor vandalism at that. First, they are grammaticality unconscious. Which p*sses me off. Second, they are so rude about saying that. They didn't have to say those things. They don't have to be so mean about a perfectly good book. If they don't want to read it then they don't have to. They don't have to resort to poor vandalism. It just makes them look like a pompous idiot.

Yes, I hope you are reading this pompous idiot.

I agree.

I was joking to you, Juliet, because I thought you were making a joke. I didn't even realize the spelling mistake. Silly me.

That's stupid. I will find out who.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
Nonono. On the 'Why we are reading this book' thing, it says 'Iv'e never read this and I never will.' We're ticked and we want to know who it was.

But I forgive you.

I'm glad you forgive me. It is an awesome threat. Whisper hounds. Heehee.
