MontiLee Stormer | 1 comments My name is MontiLee and I've owned a Sony reader (PRS-500) since my sister brought one home for me from her last Sony Convention last year (yep, she works there!). I h ave no current plans to upgrade to the 505, as it has nothing new that I care to have.

Currently holding 44 books and and a few screenplays, I never go anywhere without it. I never use the mp3 player or bother with the picture portion. Really - I don't see the point. I would rather Sony remove the player and viewer to allow for more capacity to adapt different files.

Newest addition, was "Odd Hours" by Dean Koontz and "Crooked Little Vein" by Warren Ellis.

Looking forward to great discussions

steen (xoxosteen) I have the 505 that I received for my birthday in March and I absolutely adore it, despite a few glitches every now and then; even my best friend decided to get one!

I have over 300 books in my digital library and about 2/3 of that on my Reader; I have a 4GB memory card in there currently and still have a few gigs left. I love it!

Also, the calibre software is a lifesaver!

Aileen (dahlia22273) I have the 505 and love it! I got it for Valentine's Day (hubby knows I love books). I also have a 1GB memory card in it. Right now I have 115 books in my reader.

I take my reader everywhere with me. I am asked about it all the time (even let it get passed around an auditorium as school play).

I love having a library with me.

Barbara Scutt (morgannac64) I bought the 505 last week and I love it. Really liked that it include Pride and Prejudice Any recommendations on free/inexpensive ebooks websites.

Sybele | 4 comments Hello all!!! I have my PRS505 for a year and I am really so happy about it. Yes I am a gadget lover but this was my best investment so far since I have plenty of ebooks and could not stand to read them on the laptop screen. And of course imagine reading a book of 4000 pages holding it in one hand :-)

Wendy T Would anyone recommend buying the PRS505 bookcover with light? or any other suggestion for a lighting?

I would not.
It compromises portability and VERY easy to scratch.
I used Verilux for 2 years, but it is a power hog.
