What are you're favorite movies that Johnny has played in??

SO what JD movies have you seen?
All of the pirate movies..they are what got me hooked on Johnny Depp. I love him in edward scissor hands. and he was sooooo amazing as the mad hatter and Sweeney Todd. I loved his voice over as the character Victor in Corpse Bride. I know i have seen and heard more of him but that is all that comes to mind right now.

I liked him when i first saw him in pirates of caribbean.he is amazing.

I always liked him as an actor but it was his performance in the pirate movies that has convinced me that he is hands down my favorite actor...And welcome Rajni!

I did also like him on 21 Jump Street, he was an apple cheeked young thing then, he was also good in Edward Scissorhands, Chocolat, finding neverland, benny and joon never have seen the pirates even though he was filming in Hawaii.

he was great in the pirates the first was the best. you should watch it.
I did see alice in wonderland so maybe i am not so much a fan as I like the way he looks, he is very appealing.
Finding Neverland was also good. I cried like a baby at the end.
How can Sweeney Todd be your fav (Kira) and Sleepy Hallow be gross?? lol. YES Johnny is Waaaaaaay appealing Robin! Finding Neverland was a sad ending!! I cried sooo much.
But it was a magical moment when the mother entered the magical world that Jim brought to life through his play, but then she went away, and I felt bad for Peter.
Oh i know!! It was amazing!! the look on her face was pure amazment. but when she walks into the magical land of Neverland and fades into seeing her grave..ugh my heart broke for her poor boys.
Yes, and that Peter had such emotions for a little one. They should have a finding Neverland again, a sequel to show the boys growing up and what this did to shape their lives. Edward Scissorhands was good too he played an outcast since he had scissorhands, that movie got to me also.

Yeah the boy who played peter is a very talented actor. Have you seen him in August Rush??? OMC!! Good Movie!! Edward Scissorhands was a good movie. He captured the vulnerable and pure Quality that the character called for.
Haven't seen August Rush, did see him in the Spiderwick movie, very talented. I agree about Edward he should have gotten an award for that.

I liked him in what's eating gilbert grape, I guess that movie showed more of his sensitivity, which comes across to millions of women.

Yes, it also had leonardo di caprio in it and juliette lewis, it was really good. i just saw that you said she was a leo fan.
the aviator is a good leonard di caprio movie also, she might have seen it already.it i based on howard hughes.

I was on another thread and I mentioned the Benny and Joon movie with JD and the part where he had the breadsticks as feet on the forks and was skipping them on the counter, at the restaurant. Also, the same movie when he was swinging outside of Joon's hospital room. Boy Aidan Quinn was sure uptight in his role.

I did see Johnny Depp in Alice in Wonderland with Tim Burton, he was funny doing those Scottish brogues (accents), he was certainly out there as far as his character, some of his facial mannerisms reminded me of him in Edward Scissorhands.
I liked his accents. Im a sucker for accents! And yes some of his expressions were similar to his character as Edward Scissorhands. The vulnerability was one. And the far off look when he was reminiscing of the past.......and sorry Kira and Robin that its been soo long since i have last posted. I have been busy with work. And have been soo tired!!
I hear ya, same for me as well. That is the new four letter word, work!

(Robin) yes just having a job is blessing. But i get that somedays are worse than others. I work at Carls Jr. Somedays are a drag. And others not soo much. What do you do at the elementary school?? It must be nice that is convenient.
I help set up for breakfast in the cafeteria, then clean up after. Open kids milk cartons, do the cleaning up after. I have a split shift so, Ii come back and work for another hour and a half. Cafeteria duty also helping the kids and watching them on the back playground and the front playground. It does get exhausting at times, the kids are good though and it makes my job enjoyable. You work at Carl's Jr. Are there burgers better than MacDonalds and Burger King? Anyway, I forgot to put down Johnny Depp in Don Juan De Marco he was good in that as well.
