These movies are made by fans and they are both great
This is about Aragorn's parents

this is about Aragorn's hunt for Gollum that took place yet was barely talked about in the fellowship of the ring.

These are both really good but my favorite of the 2 is born of hope.

lol they are awesome

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) This isn't a fan made movie, but I thought I should post it in this topic. You can move it if you want.

Why did I listen to that!!?? It was such good music I cried!!!

message 6: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) IKR, its the best. The one that makes me cry all the time is the breaking of the fellowship.

Sophie710 | 75 comments here's a good one. How It Should Have Ended. Absolutely hilarious. They make fun of everything- especially the voices.

message 9: by Rosanna (new)

Rosanna I thought Born of Hope was absolutely amazing - I wish there were more high-quality fan productions like that. I also saw Hunt for Gollum, but didn't like it quite as much, though I think I should probably watch it again and revise my opinion :) Does anyone know about any others that are being/have been made?

message 10: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Nope sorry those are the only ones I've heard of/seen. I really enjoyed Born of Hope too!

Born of Hope is the better of the two by far but the hunt for Gollumn is still good but at the ending the lighting should have been better it was hard to see the fight between the Nazgul and Aragorn.

message 12: by Rosanna (new)

Rosanna Ah well, perhaps there will be more in the future :)(And great you liked it as well Elizabeth!) I'll watch Hunt for Gollum again now - my criticisms will probably be the same as yours Cody, because the cinematography in Born of Hope was very good.

message 13: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Yeah, I should probebly watch Hunt for Gollum again too. I was in a hurry the first time I watched it.

message 14: by Rosanna (new)

Rosanna Well, after watching it again for the second time I think its a lot better than I had remembered, and the locations they use are beautiful.

Queen Susan the Gentle (highqueensusanofcairparavel) I loved Born of Hope. Wasn't little Aragorn adorable?

Lynx | 25 comments I love Born of Hope!!! one of my friends showed it to me before I got into LotR. The story is a bit off, but the movie is amazing!!!

Kimberly Rahi (kimmierahi) Check out my review on "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug" Comments are welcome! Lets get a debate going!

Strider | 104 comments I wish I could remember what site I was on a couple years ago but it consisted of amateur writers who were writing "fill in" re: Lord of the Rings. For example, not unlike PJ, the writers were using their imaginations -- and writing skills -- to fill in parts of the story that were left undeveloped.

One of my favorite was when Aragorn rode with the Rohirrim at one time in the past (as hinted at by Aragorn himself when confronted by Eomer on the way back from destroying the Orcs on the plains of Ronan, trying to reach the Old Forest). The writer began by having Aragon leave Riverdale, disguising his true identity, and joining with the Rohirrim, traveling by the name of Thorongil, and helping with their battles with the Orcs invading their land, as well as some of the battles with the Corsairs. The writing was so good that had I discovered that it had been part of Tolkien's Silmarillion I would not have been surprised. My only regret is that I did not write down the author of this work and follow up with him. A rare jewel.

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) Oh my, it's kinda sad how true these two videos are. But it's also funny how ridiculous it is as well.

Strider | 104 comments Lizzy, satire can be a great form of communication. These two videos make this point well! Thanks for the heads up.

James Amerson | 20 comments I haven't looked in on you guys in a while, and all I can say is " Why?" There is so much amazing LOTR content!

message 22: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (elizabethnovak) What do you mean James? I'm not quite getting your point. Are you talking about our discussions?
