message 5: by Karendenice (new)

Karendenice | 39 comments I am on Facebook. Under Karen Dionis. But I just want to warn you in advance that while I have mostly Christian friends, I do have some friends and relatives that are not! There is not alot (some, yes) of posta that I censor. I'm not here to judge them or anyone else either. However, I do not encourage them by making comments. If I can help in any way to share the love of God with any of them, I want to. After all, God did use a donkey. Not to say that I am one, although some people have called me mule-headed. I would love to have more Christians as friends on Facebook. As I see it the more that we are in their face(book) the more opportunity we have of reaching them. I don't have a blog or twitter account either. Actually I'm not even sure of what they do or how to use them or if I'd even want one. As much time as I spend on goodreads and reading I really don't think I have enough time for twittering or blogging. lol

Toni Nelson (goodreadscomtoninelson) | 55 comments Karen, Kudos to you for writing your first blog! But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law who belonged to their sect complained to his disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?" Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:30-32, NIV)

Karendenice | 39 comments Thanks Toni. I didn't realize that his was blogging.:{
At 53, I have to have EVERYTHING that has to do with computers explained in DETAIL. lol Is this really blogging? With all the info that I have seen I thought you had to have an website address for people to go to. :I However I do know what chatting is! I actually chatted with the electric company last month. lol When I told my daughter she couldn't talk to me on the phone anymore. She just laid the phone down and I swear she laughed for 10 minutes. Of course when she gets to laughing, she has such a great laugh, that she got me started also.
And your right about that scripture in the Bible. Iknew it was in ther, just couldn't remember where, and I wanted to warn people about my facebook just in case someone got offended. There are some things on it that I find offensive. But I also have to say that I wasn't raised a Christian, I had to go through hell to get here, as I'm sure most people/alot of people had to also. I just thank God that I am most definitly a sinner saved by grace. Sorry if I'm sounding to preachy. I'll get off my soapbox now.
