Glad to hear about the TBR - it's getting out of control again!! Thanks for all the great challenges - I love participating in them. I thought I'd have more time for reading in my new job, since I cut my commute from about an hour each way to less than 10 minutes, but it's not really working out that way :(

Will there be a 2021 Around the World challenge, or is the Million Miles challenge taking its place?(Apologies if this isn't the proper place to ask this!)

Good question. Gretchen and I are planning to get rid at least of one challenge this year, but I don't think we had solidified which one.

Checking in, will there be another Summer Reading Challenge this year? I've already got a list started :D
Hello, Mods. I have totally enjoyed all of the challenges over the years and now that I am retired, I would like to volunteer to tip my toes into "hosting" a couple of challenges a year. I can't guarantee that I can come up with anything original, but we've had some fantastic challenges in the past that we could revisit - Million Mile, Book Bingo, Station House, A to Z.All three of y'all have done a wonderful job (as well as our sorely missed friend JoLene) and I know y'all all have crazy busy lives. Since mine now consists of sewing, crocheting and reading (housecleaning, if I have to...), I'd be glad to help out if you'd like.

I'd love for you to host some challenges. I know I personally have some time constraints so I have not been able to offer as many challenges as in previous years. I'll reach out to the other Mods so they see this but I welcome the idea!

Thank you! All mods are in agreement that we would love for you to host some challenges and I look forward to seeing what you create!

I know summer is the Summer TBR list and we used to do the Winter Centuries challenge. My initial thought was a 3 or 4 month challenge around February to May and another from September to end of November. I could start with the pretty simple A to Z challenge beginning in September (short turnaround, but y'all already have everything in place).
Sorry, just responding to this. I love how you started the A to Z challenge, and I haven't done much planning for any additional challenges so there is a high probability that the only ones I'll be posting in the near future are the Winter challenge and the Summer TBR. I also know some people like more than one challenge at a time, so have fun with whatever you come up with! Thank you again.
Hi, Mods! I was hoping that one of you could create a new folder for a 2025 Million Mile Challenge, so that participants could use that folder to then create their own thread (just like ethe 2021 Challenge). I could use the previous folder, but it might get a bit confusing. I explored doing this myself, but it looks like folders are Mod territory! No rush - I know holidays are crazy. I was hoping to post all the info the last weekend of the year.
Thanks!

I made a new folder for the challenge. It shows on my end under the list of folders. When I go back out to the list of discussions page, it seems to be missing. If you find it let me know. I'll keep working the problem on my end in the meantime.
Edit- I think I fixed the issue. Let me know if you have any other problems.

Will the famous Summer TBR Challenge be making a return appearance this year? Such a great motivator to clear out some of those pesky shelf sitters!!
Still no news about the summer TBR challenge. I have a list and will probably do it anyway just to clear things out.
Sorry guys. I just posted it. It will start a little later this year. June 15-September 15th. A little closer to the actual summer solstice.

It's not starting until June 15th this year because I posted it later, so closer to the 15th I'm going to make the scoring thread.
