Would You Volunteer to Stay at a Lighthouse?

The local paper has had stories on this, too, since so many lighthouses are nearby. What do you think? Would you do it? I think staying at lighthouse might be pretty cool.

Oh, I think I'd love that. :) I'd do it. We don't have lighthouses in Arkansas, though.

If it wasn't too isolated, I'd do it. Some lighthouses are pretty remote, I wouldn't want to be too cut off from the world for too long. For a vacation, though, yeah!

We're short on lighthouses in Iowa. My husband's similar money pit project is restoring a beautiful old HUGE dairy barn on his parents' property. Anyone want to invest in a barn?

I would definitely do it, just not alone. I would need a group of friends with me to keep from losing my mind and to get more done.

I would also bring several good books.
