RandomAnthony | 14536 comments The NY Times has an article about lighthouse volunteers today...

The local paper has had stories on this, too, since so many lighthouses are nearby. What do you think? Would you do it? I think staying at lighthouse might be pretty cool.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Oh, I think I'd love that. :) I'd do it. We don't have lighthouses in Arkansas, though.

I would definitely do it.

Félix (habitseven) I love lighthouses.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8993 comments If it wasn't too isolated, I'd do it. Some lighthouses are pretty remote, I wouldn't want to be too cut off from the world for too long. For a vacation, though, yeah!

Cynthia Paschen | 7127 comments We're short on lighthouses in Iowa. My husband's similar money pit project is restoring a beautiful old HUGE dairy barn on his parents' property. Anyone want to invest in a barn?

Caity (adivineeternity) I would definitely do it, just not alone. I would need a group of friends with me to keep from losing my mind and to get more done.

I would also bring several good books.
