Niobe's Curse

Stage 1:
time: slow development.
-fever
-coughing
-raspy breathing

Stage 2 (Optional... XD):
time: as long as you would like it to span XD
-High fever
-occasional, but large, coughing fit
-insantiy (dillusional...)

Stage 3:
time: span of at least four days. can be more.
-nightmares
-(optional)Severe pain. And I quote Diona, for she put it perfectly: "Pressure. Her skin is sensitive to pressure. Ever so much, even the air is hurting her."

Stage 4:
time: fast.
-intense weakness
-paleness. (ie: "Oh (insert name here), you're whiter than a sheet!" ....fail)
-slow death~

The older twin's silver Hunters despair
An illness that rids them of immortality's care.
Three half blooods embark on a journey of woe
To reach the mountain where the holy cure grows.
Two hated by those who ail in distress,
The last to be left in eternal rest.

The idea is that three halfbloods will go to get the cure, located on Mount St Helens, which is a Cypress tree (holy cure-- holy to Artemis). Two hated by those who ail in distress-- two of them will be male. The last, who is female, will either be killed or meet the god of sleep, Hypnos, and fall into an eternal sleep.

I have another idea.
So, Niobe's Curse is supposed to apply to all 'sons and daughters' of Artemis AND Apollo, right?
What if Niobe is targeting the Hunters-- Artemis' 'daughters' first because Artemis killed HER daughters first? And then she'll move on to the Apollo campers-- males only?
