Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Since we are wrapping up our It's Just A Game Quarterly Challenge, its time to put out the next one.

Again, I'm using a suggestion from Valorie, which she posted in our Suggestions for Future Challenges/Categories thread. Thanks for the idea, and keep them coming. : )

This one is called Back-to-School Challenge and is inspired by the many subjects/classes school offers us.

DURATION: September 1, 2010 - November 30, 2010

1. Math - Read a book that has a number on the title. Example 50 Ways to Hex Your Lover, One With the Night, First Drop of Crimson

2. Literature - Read a book that is considered a "classic". Example Pride and Prejudice

3. Science - Read a sci-fi/futuristic romance, or a book where one of the main characters is in a scientific field.

4. Art - Read a book with a interesting or beautiful cover, or has a character that is some kind of an artist.

5. Music - Read a book with a title that is also a song title (Example Born to Be Wild) or has a character that is into music (singer, musician, lyricist, etc.)

6. Computer Science - Read a book that involves computers or has a character that is good at it.

7. Journalism - Read a book that has either a character (journalist, reporter, writer) or setting (publishing company, etc.) from the world of journalism.

8. History - Read a book that is set in the past or has a character that works in a ‘history’ related field (archeologist, museum curator, researcher, etc).

9. Phys Ed or Sports - Read a book with a sport in the title/cover or a character that plays sports.

10. Geography - Read a book that takes place in more than one country.

Bonus: Pick 2 Electives (any subject/class not mentioned in the original list) and create your own category.

You can post your list anytime, but no reading for this challenge until September 1, 2010.
