FINALLY, ALMOST DONE WITH IT!!!

I really loved this book. It took me less than 3 days to finish it. I know it was a satire of Gothic literature, but it made me really want to read those Gothic novels mentioned, especially The Mysteries of Udolpho.

I don't know what to think about Henry. I mean I think he's a nice guy and everything, but I wonder what he really thought of Catherine throughout the book. Spoiler: While I was reading, I liked to think he was as interested (or nearly as interested) in Catherine as she was in him, but at the end Austen says he didn't start to really care about her until after his father had kicked her out. I prefer to think otherwise. The book is just no fun for me if I have to believe that Henry is indifferent toward Catherine throughout the majority of the story.
