William (acknud) I haven't been but I am going to start. I basically want to be able to discuss their readings with them. This will let me screen appropriateness, verify they are reading them, check their understanding of content, etc. This will be somewhat difficult. I have two kids reading plus what I am reading. The good news is that they are 7 and 11 so I should be able to keep up with the demand.

Brian (bkco1213) | 12 comments I've been reading books to my 8 year old daughter before bed - Harry Potter, Harriet the Spy, and now Lemoney Snicket. She enjoys it. I haven't read what she reads at other times, but she has some recommendations for me.

My dad and I read a lot of the same stuff and discuss it to this day. He even brought that up at my rehearsal dinner.
