Stidmama | 5 comments Madeleine L'Engle died today (7 Sept 07)... I loved her books as a child, and love them more as an adult. There is a timeless depth to many of them that pulls me in. And this means there won't be any more.

You know, I need to reread Wrinkle in Time at some point. I was asked to read it in about 4th grade, and I don't think I was ready for it, as I hated it. I have no idea why, and don't remember a thing about it, so perhaps it's time to give it a second chance!

Lbd | 13 comments I was so saddened to read that MsL'Engle died. I was just talking to a friend about "Wrinkle in time".

I'll also miss Robert Ludlum for his covert novels. Not the bourne identity series...those were a bit too recipe-ish for me.
