SIX LETTER SCRABBLE - JUST FOR FUN
Well we had that already Michael...so I will try another one (remember we started with the word battle - smile)...we hopefully get different words.
OK we were on lattes..can't have battle because we started with it (lol)
So we can change one of the six letters so I choose to change one letter from one of the t's to a d; I did not add any letters and only changed one so that should be according to the rules. You can mix up the letters to make a new word; so I have come up with the word
slated
Now folks you can only change one letter from the word slated, you can mix the letters around but they have to be the same letters as in slated except for the switch out of one letter which is allowed. The word must also remain six letters. And you cannot duplicate the word. You have to work from the last word posted.
So we have to go forward from the word slated

DELAYS

Gee Alisa I just learned a new word. Terrific.
Could only come up with this word...changing the y to an s
SPENDS
Not terribly original but it does the job.

Lucky you Vicki...but ok by the rules.

It really is a word.

What happened Erick was that I was working from the word raider not your word rapier and we posted at approximately the same time without updating the site. With that in mind; instead of working from raider now I have to work from rapier.

1. You can only change one letter, in the last word posted. And you have to change one letter and one letter only.
2. You can mix around the letters to make a new word.
3. Once we get stuck, a word is duplicated, or there is a change in the number of letters a new game starts.
4. You cannot add letters. You can
only change one letter. And of course one letter has to be changed.
5. Games start with 6 letter words, if we duplicate or mess up we start over.
Let us start out with the word
battle
Note: I hope the additions to the text above made it clearer.
