Sandpaw brought a rabbit up to Mothpaw. "Wanna share?" she offered.

Mothpaw smiled at her sister. "Sure! I haven't eaten yet today."

Ashpaw's tail flinched as he realized he could've asked Mothpaw to share a rabbit with him.

"Great!" Sandpaw said.

Mothpaw took a bite of the rabbit. "Did you catch this yourself?"

"No, Ashpaw caught it," Sandpaw replied. She sub-counsiously gave Ashpaw a glance.

Ashpaw heard his name and looked over at the two just in time to see Sandpaw looking at him. What...?

"Oh. Well, Ashpaw had a nice catch then," Mothpaw said brightly.

"And it's good, too," Sandpaw said after she took a bite of the rabbit.

Cloverwish yawned and stretched

Cloverwish walked out of her den and licked a paw

Icetalon walked out of the warriors den. It was a farily nice day to just lay around. Icetalon wasn't that kind of cat though. He turned around and asked
"Hey Ashpaw, want to do some battle traning?"

Cloverwish licked her other paw

"Sure," Ashpaw replied. Could Sandpaw and Mothpaw train with us?

"Hey, Sandpaw, Mothpaw, want to come with us for some battle traning?"

"I'd love to," Sandpaw replied.

"Okay sounds good, you might as well finish that rabbit Mothpaw since you're already eating it. You can catch up with us later. You can meet us at the traning hollow," Icetalon told her.

Mothpaw hurried to gulp down the rabbit. "I can come now!" she said, springing to her feet.

Cloverwish approached Mothpaw, "Eating that fast is going to result in a belly ache..."

Sandpaw finished what Mothpaw left on the rabit with a few ravenous bites. "Ready!"

Mothpaw shrugged. "Thanks, Cloverwish, but I want to go to battle training!" She flicked her tail impatiently.

Sandpaw stood next to Mothpaw.

Mothpaw started bouncing up and down. "Can we go now?" she asked eagerly.

"Yeah! Can we?" Sandpaw asked.

Cloverwish sighed and turned away, "Whatever." she muttered

Mothpaw felt a little twinge of guilt. "Thanks for your advice, though," she called after Cloverwish.

"If you throw up during training, I'm telling Cloverwish," Sandpaw teased.

Mothpaw stuck out her tongue. "I won't throw up. I hate being sick."

"Yeah. When I feel sick, I just remind myself how much I hate throwing up and I feel all beter," Sandpaw said scarastically.

Mothpaw tossed her head teasingly. "It works for me!"

"Maybe you should tell your trick to the medicine cat, then. I'm sure she'd be impressed," Sandpaw said.

"She could study me," Mothpaw added with a smile.

"But not before we study some battle moves!" Sandpaw said enthusiastically.

Mothpaw laughed. "Yay battle training! I think we should go soon. Like now soon," she said excitedly.

"Yeah. Let's try to beat Icetalon and Ashpaw to the training hollow!" Sandpaw declared.

Mothpaw smiled. "Easy." Without another word, she turned and raced out of camp.

Sandpaw pelted after her.

"Come'on! Can't catch me if you run like kits just of the den!" Icetalon raced ahead of them but not so fast that they wouldn't try to race him.

Sandpaw increased her speed, trying to at least be close.

Icetalon skidded to a halt at the traning hollow letting Sandpaw beat him by a paw-length.

Ashpaw sped up but let Mothpaw pass him.

Icetalon turned his head around watching the rest of the racers get to the traning hollow.

Mothpaw squealed with excitement when she passed Ashpaw. She stumbled to a stop in the training hollow and laughed.

Ashpaw sped up so he would come in right behind her.

Mothpaw grinned. "Nice race, Ashpaw - but I won!" she chirped.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Ashpaw teased.

"Be quiet all of you," Icetalon shushed them. He pricked his ears. "Now I'll put you in pairs. Sandpaw, you're with Mothpaw. Ashpaw you're with me. I'm going to have you fight me and give you pointers. Now keep your claws sheathed. We're not Shadow Clan." He turned around to face Ashpaw.

Ashpaw dropped into a battle stance.

Sandpaw gave Mothpaw a fake angry-battle face.

Mothpaw drew back her lips and hissed teasingly.

Cloverwish drew her tail along the sand. She watched the wind pick up the loose dust and sent it blowing away.
