In a group, there was a topic called The Wishing Well. I, being "Vish", came up with this. Its written in the POV of a Wish:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
Far too long have I missed the sunset
Fulfilling dreams for those in queue.
Too many Vishes, I have granted.
And my Well has lost its hue.
While the mortals lay yet in bed
I travel the world I never knew.
Never to return, my wings wide spread,
