Rona Fernandez (ronagirl9) | 104 comments I'm interested in reading books 'with' folks, virtually, of course, and discussing them here. Please post some books you'd like to read/share with others. I've posted a Jimmy Baldwin book I'd like to read next (I just finished 'Giovanni's Room') and Chris Abani's recent novel 'Graceland'. Any others?

Ching-In | 5 comments Hi Rona & whoever!

I'd be interested in reading together -- I always tend to be more likely to get what I want done when I'm doing it with other people. I was also planning on reading some of Chris Abani's novels soon, but I'd be open to others.

xoxo,
Ching-In

Rona Fernandez (ronagirl9) | 104 comments Yes--let's read. I'm interested in reading more Baldwin too. I'm reading 'Black Girl in Paris' right now after finishing 'Giovanni's Room' (what can I say, I miss paris!). Maybe we could read 'Graceland' together. any others interested?

Ching-In | 5 comments Sounds great! I should be hitting solid ground by this weekend & ready to begin -- what's the easiest way to do this? Were you thinking of reading the entire book by a certain date & then discussing afterwards or as we go along? I'd be open to reading Baldwin though I've already read Another Country.

Rona Fernandez (ronagirl9) | 104 comments I like your suggestion Ching-In. A good 'deadline' for me would be by the middle of October? (sorry i'm a slow reader!). Would that work for y'all? Let's start with 'Graceland'?

Rona

Ching-In | 5 comments Middle of October works for me -- it's a long book, I think:-) What about you, Mendi --- or anybody else?
