hi, Sorry i didn't mean to join this group. I have not yet read the lord of the rings, yet. is it okay?
my favorite is sam. I liked in the second book when Sam Fought Shelobe and Gollum
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PEOPLE THE BEST IS CLEARLY ARAGORN!!!by the way, the books are great. You should totally read them. The movies are awesome too, though.
And the queen of the elves is Galadriel. Arwen is the princess of Rohan. The people of rohan are men, not elves. Aowen is the daughter of Lord Elrond of Rivendell, who are elves.
Sorry if some of you already knew that but there seemed to be some confusion towards the beginning.
Aragorn is so cute! Legolas is too, but not as much.(:
I haven't read the books but I know like EVERYTHING there is to know about the movies. I should probably read the books tho. My fav character is Legolas.

and no gimli isnt the only dwarf at the first meeting to decide who takes the ring to mount doom,there are about 4 more dwarves
i really like Eowyn in the books and movies, but Gimli and Legolas in the movies are halarious, and of course i like all the hobbits, Pippin mosty.And Aragorn.
yeah... you can't go wrong with the comic reliefs.

The best character by far is Sam. If each of us had a friend like him the world would be a better place. He is the most loyal and loving friend. There is no way the mission would have been successful without Samwise Gamgee!
