I love to write too! I'm also in the middle of a novel, although I can tell it won't be too long. I'm in the middle of the story and I'm on chapter 7/8(in between chapters right now) and I have 12 pages typed. It is also on goodreads.

i start writing, then i suddenly stop because i think it is lame.

I've run across that problem before. Just keep writing anyways, and try to not care if it's lame or not. Keep in mind that you can revise later.

I write pretty much everything except poems.
=( My poetry sucks.
If I get stuck on one thing, I just go to a different thing I'm currently writing, that way I'm never not writing. But if by some chance I end up with writers' block on six things (Yeah, I'm kinda crazy.) that would be a problem.
