I am organizing a few meetings with Wellington writers through my Book Club.

We are aiming to fuse lively, creative events with brain-teasing and mind-expanding food for thought in the form of discussions. It will be taking place from the middle of September. Nice work Alex. Sounds like a great idea. I have contact details for Neil Cross, Donna Malane, Joan Druett, and Bob Marriott, if you want any of those (Wellington-based mystery/thriller writers).

Druett also writes some acclaimed non-fiction maritime books, often focused on woman at sea in the colonial era.

Malane recently won the inaugural NZSA Pindar Publishing Prize (for an unpublished novel). I understand her novel SURRENDER will be published in August/September, so that could time well for you too.
