Alex Khan (alextho) | 10 comments Hi there all,

I am organizing a few meetings with Wellington writers through my Book Club.

We are aiming to fuse lively, creative events with brain-teasing and mind-expanding food for thought in the form of discussions. It will be taking place from the middle of September. If you are interested, you can follow the updates on our website or e-mail me, I will be more than happy to answer questions.
Thoughts, suggestions are always welcome.

Here are the details;

Kind Regards,

Craig Sisterson (kiwicraig) | 63 comments Nice work Alex. Sounds like a great idea. I have contact details for Neil Cross, Donna Malane, Joan Druett, and Bob Marriott, if you want any of those (Wellington-based mystery/thriller writers).

Druett also writes some acclaimed non-fiction maritime books, often focused on woman at sea in the colonial era.

Malane recently won the inaugural NZSA Pindar Publishing Prize (for an unpublished novel). I understand her novel SURRENDER will be published in August/September, so that could time well for you too.
